Buying Pokémon Cards in Bulk for Resale: Seller Checklist

Online sellers need product information that stays consistent from sourcing through listing and fulfilment. A bulk request should identify exactly what will be sold, what must still be verified and which costs remain outside the product price.

01

Match the sourced option to the resale listing

Record the exact language, set or volume, product format, SKU or option ID and quantity. Similar packaging artwork can appear across different editions or sales units, so do not build a resale listing from the character name alone.

Use current product photos to identify the requested item, then ask for additional label, seal or packaging views when your marketplace listing or customers require them. Do not use one option’s image to describe another option.

  • Exact catalog option used for sourcing
  • Language and format stated in the resale listing
  • Photos that match the same option
  • Quantity available to sell after receiving checks
02

Build a test order around your sales model

Sealed products, gift boxes, singles and accessories serve different buyer intent. Choose a mix that matches how your store attracts traffic, creates add-on sales and handles products that move at different speeds.

The website keeps the full catalog available rather than limiting every buyer to the same shortlist. Choose products that fit your audience, price position and listing strategy.

03

Calculate landed cost before promising a margin

Start with the confirmed product value and international freight. Then add any import duty, tax, brokerage, local delivery, marketplace fee, payment fee, returns allowance and fulfilment cost that applies to your business.

Do not advertise a fixed margin or delivery date while product availability, packing and shipping remain unconfirmed. Recalculate after any product substitution, quantity change or shipping-method change.

04

Receive and reconcile before listing stock as ready

Compare the received shipment with the final quote by product reference and quantity. Record packaging issues or differences promptly and keep supporting photos with the shipment record.

For repeat orders, send the same SKU or option IDs and the new required quantities. Current stock, prices, MOQ, preparation time and freight are checked again before payment.

  • Count by SKU or exact option
  • Check visible packaging condition
  • Record differences before fulfilment
  • Update the resale listing only with verified details

Catalog details identify the requested products, SKUs and option IDs. Current stock, MOQ, final prices, freight and preparation time are confirmed during quotation before payment.
